The US Energy Information Agency reports that residential electricity prices in 2025 went up by 9.5%. Inflation was measured at only 2.7%.

One notable client is Thiel Capital. This is the investment firm founded by Peter Thiel. Thiel is a billionaire venture capitalist who runs a large number of other corporations. Most notable of which being Palantir. Palantir is a data analytics and AI surveillance company that is used by state and national governments to spy on American citizens. While Palantir is not currently a customer of Switch, Switch representatives refused to say that they would not work with Palantir in the future.
